Cave 3

Cave 3 (left) is one of the pair of caves from Eastern Wei period (534-550). The stele between them that may had been carved with a dedicatory inscription for the caves has been removed. Like Cave 2, Cave 3 has a square plan with Buddha and bodhisattva images with relief carvings on three walls.
